Toyota C-HR Brief History
The word C-HR is referred to as Coupe High Rider, Crosshatch Run-about, and Compact High Rider. Hiroyuki Koba, Toyota Chief Engineer, started working on its development in 2013 and the vehicle was finally launched in 2016. The initial production units were established in Japan and Turkey.
In early 2017, the vehicle’s sales started in Northern America, Australia, Europe, and South Africa. And it reached China, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan in 2008.
