Pontiac Vibe Brief History
Pontiac Vibe was launched as a compact car in 2002 as the model year 2003. General Motors introduced this vehicle in collaboration with Toyota. It was the last S-body car developed by Toyota and General Motors. It was introduced as a successor to Chevrolet Prizm. In the Japanese domestic market, Toyota Voltz was offered as a rebadged right-hand drive version of Vibe.
However, it was discontinued after two model years because it couldn’t grab enough attention. Similarly, the company discontinued the production of the Pontiac Vibe in 2009 because General Motors decided to shut down the Pontiac brand.
Evolution of Pontiac Vibe

The second generation was launched with two engine options including a 1.8L four-cylinder and a 2.4L four-cylinder engine. It was available as a 4-/5-speed automatic and a 5-speed manual transmission.
