Plymouth Neon was launched as a compact car in 1993. It was introduced in two- and four-door body configurations. It was offered in several international markets including South America, Canada, Europe, Egypt, South Africa, Mexico, Japan, and Australia. The Neon nameplate was also used on different models of Chrysler and Dodge.
Plymouth Neon was discontinued in 2001 while Chrysler and Dodge Neon were discontinued in 2005. Later on, Dodge relaunched this nameplate in 2016 which continued till 2021.
