Mercury Sable is a range of mid-size and full-size cars that was introduced in 1985. It was launched as a replacement for Mercury Marquis. It was offered as a 4-door sedan and a 5-door station wagon from 1985 to 2005. It was replaced by Montego in 2006 and was relaunched as a full-size car in 2008.

However, the company discontinued its production in 2009 because Ford decided to shut down the Mercury brand.
