It’s the first non-limousine Lincoln that offers seating for more than six people. Its manufacturing plant was initially established at Michigan Assembly Plant, in Wayne, Michigan.

However, the production unit was later moved to the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, Kentucky in 2009.
