The company also introduced a 5.3L V8 engine to meet the needs of the customers. Hummer H3 was available as a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic transmission. The H3X edition was introduced in 2007 that came with chrome tube steps, chrome trim, 18-inch chrome wheels, and a body-colored grille.
The production of Hummer H3 was discontinued in Feb 2010 because General Motors had decided to shut down the Hummer brand.
