Geo Storm was introduced as a compact car in 1990. It was a collaboration between General Motors and Isuzu. It was marketed in the United States, Canada, and Japan. The car was based on the Isuzu Impulse, which was already being sold in Japan.
The Geo Storm was available in two models: the base model and the GSi model. The base model was powered by a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine that produced 95 horsepower.
The GSi model, on the other hand, had a more powerful 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine that produced 140 horsepower. Both models were available with either a five-speed manual or a three-speed automatic transmission.
Despite its small size and relatively low power output, the Geo Storm was marketed as a sporty car with a sleek design and good handling. It was also relatively affordable, with a base price of around $10,000.
