Chevrolet Spark Brief History

Chevrolet Spark was initially launched as Daewoo Matiz in 1998. From 2002, it was marketed with different General Motor Marques and Nameplates because GM purchased Daewoo Motors this year. In 2009, the company started marketing it under its Chevrolet brand. The company also introduced an all-electric version of this car in 2013. The company has announced that the Chevrolet Spark will be discontinued after 2022.

Chevrolet Spark was based on the 2007 Chevrolet Beat concept car. It was launched as a 4-door sedan and a 5-door hatchback. It was available with five engine options including 995cc inline-four, 1,199cc inline-four, 1206cc inline-four, 1249cc inline-four, and 936cc inline-three diesel.

Fourth Generation (2015-Present)
