Bentley Bentayga was launched as a luxury mid-size SUV in 2015 as the model year 2016. It was the first SUV introduced by Bentley. Its manufacturing takes place at Volkswagen Zwickau-Mosel Plant in Germany. And the final assembly takes place at Bentley Motor’s factory in Crewe, UK.

Bentley Bentayga was launched with three engine options including a 3.0L turbocharged V6, 4.0L twin-turbo V8, and 6.0L twin-turbo W12. All engine options are combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A facelift version was introduced in 2020 that came with an enlarged rear spoiler, 3D elliptical tail lights, new oval-shaped split tailpipes, and more.
The company also introduced a 4.0L twin-turbo diesel engine for a few select markets.
